President Donald Trump announced his fourth set of United States Attorney candidates, nominating Chalmers & Adams attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak for the Northern District of Georgia. Five other candidates were also nominated to different districts. “The United States Attorney serves as the chief Federal law enforcement officer within his or her Federal judicial district,” the White House stated in the July 21 announcement. “These six candidates share the President’s vision for ‘Making America Safe Again.’”

BJay has 20 years of courtroom experience, including six years of service as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of Georgia. The Senate confirmation process will follow, with approval expected later this year.
