Personal Experience & Biography

Heather Wagner practices in the areas of federal and state political law and litigation. As part of her political law practice, Heather advises candidates on campaign finance laws and defends clients in litigation and administrative law proceedings. Heather has been involved in recent cases in both state and federal court concerning the defense of election integrity statutes from third-party challengers. Heather has also assisted clients in filing complaints with the Federal Election Commission. 

As part of her litigation practice, Heather represents majority, minority, and equal business owners in disputes with their fellow business partners. Whether a business partner is stealing from the business, a business partner is not performing his/her share of the work, a business partner locked another out of the business, the business is deadlocked, business partners have different strategic plans for the business, or business partners no longer wish to work together, Heather helps her clients navigate these contentious disputes. Heather also represents clients in contract disputes.

Heather received her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from Georgia Southern University. While at Georgia Southern University, Heather was a member of the Division I tennis team and received numerous honors including ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team, Georgia Southern University Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and she was named on the TIAA-CREF Academic All Southern Conference Team.

Heather graduated summa cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law. While at the Georgia State College of Law, Heather served as an extern for then Chief Justice Hunstein at the Georgia Supreme Court. Heather also served as an Associate Editor on the Georgia State University Law Review and a Graduate Research Assistant.

Heather is admitted to practice in all Georgia trial courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
